APS Itinera Romanica, Amici del Romanico

Throughout the year we organize various excursions around Sardinia, with the aim of exploring the island’s Romanesque churches. But each outing is also an opportunity to discover much more: archaeological sites, nuraghi, villages, traditions, and lesser-known cultural places full of history and character.

We enjoy going beyond the well-known sites to explore places that are less accessible, sometimes closed to the public or rarely visited. We are accompanied by expert guides who make the visits more engaging with clear and precise explanations.

Once a year we also go beyond the island. We organize a group trip in Italy or abroad to discover different historical and artistic contexts, to share experiences and find new ideas. It’s one of the most appreciated experiences by our members: we travel together, visit museums, cities, and monuments, and share moments and discoveries. Only during the pandemic did we have to pause this tradition, but we resumed it as soon as possible with even more enthusiasm.

Our yearly calendar is also inspired by these trips: photos taken by members become a way to remember and share the places we visited together.
